If you live in an area which experiences a natural disaster, this may impact your ability to work. Natural disasters include events such as hurricanes (cyclones/typhoons), tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, wildfires (bushfires) and earthquakes.
In the event of a natural disaster, or of an impending natural disaster, Human Made can support you in one of the following ways:
- If you choose to continue to work, the company will pay the cost of your exit from the area and for a hotel or apartment for the duration that you are away from home. We ask that you be budget-conscious when it comes to choosing your hotel, and if you think you will be away for an extended period to book an Airbnb or apartment.
- If you choose not to work, Human Made will give you the time off work. You do not need to take this as holiday but should log it in Bob as “Natural disaster”, noting the event that has taken place.
