The health and wellbeing of our team members is something that we take very seriously. We are therefore happy to offer you all access to an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), delivered by Health Assured — the UK and Ireland’s leading wellbeing provider and their international partner ComPsych.

What is an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)?

An EAP is a confidential employee benefit designed to help you deal with personal and professional issues that could be affecting your home life or work life, health and general wellbeing.

Health Assured provides a complete support network that offers expert advice and compassionate guidance 24/7, covering a wide range of issues. We strongly believe in providing an EAP service that offers not only reactive support when someone needs it but also proactive and preventative support to deliver the best possible outcomes.

Balancing everyday life with the requirements of work and home can create pressures for all of us. Work is a large part of our lives therefore is vital to ensure that there’s a productive, healthy environment that is conducive to a healthy lifestyle.

Services available through Health Assured 

  • Life support: Access to counselling for emotional issues and a pathway to structured therapy sessions. Highly trained, local clinicians will help you and your family members with any issues, including:
    • Anxiety, depression, stress
    • Grief, loss, life adjustments
    • Relationship/partner conflicts
  • Legal information: For issues that cause anxiety or distress including debt management, consumer, property or neighbour disputes (employees only). Talk to a local legal expert for practical assistance with your most pressing issues. They offer a free half-hour consultation per issue per year on almost any legal topic, including:
    • Divorce, adoption, family law
    • Wills and trusts
    • Landlord or tenant issues, and more
  • Financial Information: Their financial experts can assist with a wide range of issues. They offer a free half-hour consultation per issue per year for:
    • Retirement planning, taxes
    • Relocation, mortgages, insurance
    • Budgeting, debt, bankruptcy and more
  • Online Support: Wisdom app for UK/GuidanceResources® Online for international employees is your 24/7 link to articles and educational content on the subjects that matter most to you:
    • Relationships, family, parenting
    • Health, wellness, well-being
    • Legal, financial, free time and more
    • Live chat and support* (country specific in local languages) 
    • Helpful articles to aid your wellbeing 
    • Access to the in-country helpline number or local counsellor / advisor

In addition to counselling support, advice and app, there’s also a virtual library of wellbeing information. These informative articles and self-help guides provide support on a range of health and advisory issues, as well as instant guidance to aid an employee’s physical and mental health.

  • Bereavement support: Qualified and experienced counsellors from all the countries we have employees in who can help with grief. 
  • Helpline services available for your family members
    Health Assured also offers support for you and your immediate family members*, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year by calling the relevant in-country (in all the countries we have employees and contractors in) helpline number or connecting to a local counsellor on the Wisdom/Guidance Resource platform.
    *Health Assured defines immediate family members as spouses/partners and children aged 16 to 24 in full time education, living in the same household.

For Non UK Employees:

To download and access GuidanceNow app, please follow the instructions in this infographic. Before downloading the app from AppStore or Play Store, please register as a new user. 

You can do this by:

  1. Go to guidanceresources.com to reach the website.
  2. Once on the guidanceresources.com home page, click the Register tab.
  3. Enter your Organisation Web ID: HealthAssuredEAP and click the Register button.

Once you’re registered, click the flag icon on the right upper corner to choose your country (as instructed below) so you can access your country-specific services.
